Steam downloads 582660 bdo moved correupted files redownloading

Hi guys. This is my 1st post on the BDO forums. After downloading today's patch (7/19,) the launcher gets stuck halfway on applying and a message pops up reading that a corrupted file has been detected and that I need to run the repair tool. (Which, after the pop up, happens automatically when you restart the launcher.) So, can I not use my current BDO account on Steam? Question. Hey everyone, First things first, I'm more than happy to buy BDO on steam again. But what I'm confused is why I can't connect my previous account? Damn man, I heard that there are workarounds if you change some of your steam files. So obviously there's a way to do so, it's just In the games main directory delete the version.dat file. Re-installation of the .dat takes far less time than installing a new client. With my internet speed that is just a above average i got the game working fine agin in just about 15 mins.i predict for most of you the dl will take 30+ mins. You have activated 2-Step verification on your account to improve its security. Please enter a verification code from Google Authenticator. what about : 1.Buy the game and start download (next week) 2.Stop download 3.copy/paste the old BDO files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common 4.in your new Bdo steam library click proprities/local files then "verify integrity of game files" There ll be some files missing and it'll surelely just complete them and i don't know if you can get banned for that you probably can use most of it, what you need to do though is wait for it to release on steam tomorrow, install it, close steam, copy the files into the steam black desert directory, fire up steam again, let it check the files. either it will accept the files or it will redownload some of those that are missing / incompatible. Now your BDO folder is in your steam game folder along with your other games. then just launch your Steam launcher app go into your games.. and hit download on BDO, it will then Varify files instead of downloading.. and maybe download a patch if needed. that will take about 10 mins. Im sorry im not so good at explaining things :P

I've been playing this game since Friday the 26th and didn't have any troubles whatsoever until yesterday, when I the game popped up with a notification that one of my files got corrupted and I should run the repair tool through the launcher in order to fix it if it persisted. It did persist, with the game often crashing after 10-30 minutes of gameplay since then.

Im sorry im not so good at explaining things :P ive had multiple tears in the file migration in the downloadtheres tons of files missing and i gotta go through and find out if its my firewall so i can lower the alert level on windows 10 or i gotta verify the integrity of the cache AND repair the files constantlytheir download link should just be fixed through steam by the developers but they instead like to be lazy and not address the So I haven't played in a while due to busy-ness but was interested in coming back for the anniversary update and my one and only character is stuck in a non-safe zone. Escape doesn't work to teleport me either. WASD doesn't move and gamepad doesn't move me. :/ auto-walk or auto-navigate don't work either. Sent a help ticket so hopefully a GM can help me get unstuck and put me in a town so I

Preordering questions: Do I have to be the top preorder to have a chance at getting the item? I've seen different responses on this and I know they change things regularly so I'm trying to work out what the system is now.

Should I get the BDO (steam version) or the BDO non steam version? Title :) < > Showing 1-15 of 23 comments . Suzaku see how many hours you have into the game , Use the steam servers to Download the game (sometime and in some cases that's faster) , and have the game nice and tidy with all your other games in your steam library. That's all. if u already downloaded the game, you can copy the files to steam and it should take 1 min to download!!! edit: thanks to @serird. From your BDO folder, you copy everything. Then, you past it in. Steam\steamapps\common\Black Desert Online. Then, you launch the download from Steam.

Right-click the game in your Steam library, go to Properties > Local Files and select "Verify integrity of game files". It should do a scan and redownload the broken/corrupted stuff. Although if your experience is going to be anything like mine, prepare to be seeing this message a lot. Should I get the BDO (steam version) or the BDO non steam version?
